I have seen spawn time and time again get exploited by morningstars and Philosophers stones to get griefed, Let's not stop there, what about assorted EE rings, Infernal armor, and Katars.

This needs to stop. The spawn is supposed to be a safe zone and it's a real pain when wolf (as busy as he already is) has to go out of his way and fix it. The spawn is a safe zone, It's not a spot to exploit with these tools(^^^) and to get away with it.

Even thought the server is PvP and allows griefing it doesn't justify that people should be going into spawn and griefing it for fun. The spawn is meant to be a house with rules in it and explaining the server for the new people. Not a spot for exploitation this needs to stop.

Its sad that even though its supposed to be "protected" that it isn't!

I guess I'm leaving up to people to rebuild it. I don't have time to waste these days! Good way to impress people coming to check out our server for the first time!!

The other option is just banning the responsible party(s).

Sadly as it is a safe zone nobody can build in it but they can still exploit the destruction. I tried to do my part by turning all the sand back into grass.

That would work but maybe we should get them to rebuild it.

I'd really like to see a tekkit server with NO PvP. So people can build some epic creations!! I suppose we'd have to come up with a list of items that wouldn't be allowed...like the other servers. I'd have to have you guys help me come up with that list. That way people wouldn't be tempted to do things like that! But at same time, it could stifle the creativity of those who would use them for legit purposes....catch 22.

wolf if you want me to i can use computercraft and the person can take a test in the computer instead of having to come onto the forums and wait to be accepted so i can do that and we can make a spawn for a normal world and a faction world because some people like factions and normal i do myself so i was thinking that would be agood idea for spawn and it will give them a command so they can teleport so please consider this idea

Tekkit without pvp? That would ruin tekkit.

Take out nukes? Take out tekkit

Keep quarries? Grief the game some more.

Tekkit is suppose to be PvP, take that out of the game and its another server that is going to eventually get boring. You have 2 servers without pvp anyway use them.

And if you want to take out items like Infernal Armour, then might as well take out the whole EMC part, including collectors, condensers, and relays.

Lol there's way more to tekkit than Equivalent exchange. What mods have you explored? Just the fact that IA would grief peoples creations.

I would keep the tekkit with PVP, but I would like a tekkit without it as well. Something with more features where people could build something more magificent and not worry about its destruction! I'm all about epic builds too! Something where people could showcase big projects for all to see and enjoy and not have them destroyed! So yeah, would look at an additional server for this. Thats what I always hoped for on the other servers too, but they never really picked up on that for whatever reason.....

Not sure whats causing that Zeg.. where are you from? I haven't heard anyone having any lag issues, altho it wouldn't surprise me in some areas on the Tekkit server. But generally it hasn't been a problem!

I know a couple people have commented on issues with lag due to their computers not being able to handle all the client-side mods in Tekkit (as there are a lot of them). But not sure if that could be what your finding or not??

I've spent some time on the server, no problem. The last few days though have been rough, 2-3 fps. I've joined other servers and no problem. My computer has no problem running tekkit.
I don't know why it'd be because of where I'm at, I'll try running some distance away see if it helps.

tekkit is NOT all about grifing and killing each outher, and it is not ruined by not having pvp it is far more ruined when some one comes into your house and takes your dimonds and and outher stuff and nukes what u spent a lot of time of building!

65wolf would u be able to add a plug in such as Residence so that there is a place for people who dont want to be grifed or killed to build ow and so there can be towns!!!

Lol Chaos I'm sorry to say it but that's not a loss at all. I've lost 12 bases that were like 10 times more powerful. By my ally's betrayal.

It is difficult to survive. That's why I'm now 4 hours from spawn.
