Another idea you could add to your list of events could be like a week long creative build event. I could set up a flatworld server just for creative mode. Current members could have access and be assigned a location (preferably some distance away from one another so as to be private).  They could have say from Mon - Sat at a given time to build. Then at that time, locations or pictures would be shared and allow people to vote for the best/most interesting build. Depending on number of participants, could have something like the winners creation gets copied to the main server in a prominent location, like olyesti, or their town even, to be deteremined.

The coords could be set up for each user so they are over 1000 blocks away from each other to avoid others from interfering or stealing ideas.  We woul tppos the player to their location where they would set their home. But no mobs would be on, so they should not die anyway.  We could probably even turn on the in-game flying to allow them to create their builds.

Just let me know and I could set up a separate server just for this event!  Thus keeping the creative items out of our regular servers.
