I can set up creative gates (portals if you will) to the town as I have in other towns. That won't be a problem. If you want, you can set up an area and create a gate for each of the towns you want to go to, as well as nether. (Nether doesn't have to be obsidian.)
You can go to Olyesti to the large sandstone structure in the corner and see the gates I've set up that go to the various areas to get some ideas. Follow signs in Olyesti to "Gateways to the World" 8)
When you have an idea for the style(s) you want for your gateways, I can help you finish setting them up!

Cepultra, or Sepultra (were still argueing over which spelling lol) is gonna be the name of our town and Chaos will be mayor. Just a heads up.
And one question, do we need to pay rupees to setup a portal to Olyesti and a portal to the nether?
You need to pay to start a town, and you cant make those kind of portals to Olyesti, and you cant make nether portals, you have to talk to Dragoon about setting that up.

Actually, I have been planning that from the start. I was just putting it off until towns started to become established, which they are certainly coming around now! If you guys are ready to start promoting and want a board for your town, I'd be happy to set it up! I would set them up so that the mayor of the town is the board moderator. And it would be a child board of the appropriate server of which the town is on.
The towns I know of so far would include:
*Basil
*FallenSaints
Wasted Island?? If its back?
Hedgemoor (which needs a mayor)
Olyesti?? have to decide if want to really do a residential area there. Thinking have better areas on server for that.
Chaos_wolf and Wolf012 are starting up a new one shortly, so that one could be added at that time too.
Might be a couple other areas, have to talk to their creators to see what plan is.
* - indicates these are certainly ready now!
Just finishing Vanilla server updates now, but I should be able to get forums updated overnite, or early tomorrow at latest!

We should just have a thread with towns and then each town has its own topic.
That seems to work better.

Possibly have a thread for people looking to join a town either right away or later on.
"Join a town" thread where there is a list of all towns, mayors, rules, requirements, whats in them, if there creative or handmade, history, etc.
I think it be fun and bring new possible members, or recent members looking for one.
